Triton's new LTS 240 hits the market!

Posted: 3/28/2003

Ashland City, TN (3-28-03) The 240 LTS is the newest introduction into the Triton LTS (Light Tackle Series) family. This fully linered skiff offers an added two feet of cockpit and floor space above the existing 220 LTS. These boats are tough enough to take on open seas but have a draft shallow enough for bays and backwaters. And they're designed to be versatile enough to fish in each setting.
Triton Light Tackle Series boats represent an exciting and unique approach to dual purpose fishing. At first glance the shallow 13" draft hull, conveniently stepped fishing platforms, dual enclosed rod lockers and rod tip storage tubes will have you believing that you've simply found the
ultimate bay boat. But upon closer examination you'll find that we've also included offshore style amenities like a 25 gallon round livewell, a 60 gallon fishbox and massive storage compartments. These boats actually have more storage than many offshore boats of comparable length.
The 24' long 240 LTS has the same rugged saltwater stringer system we put into our offshore boats. Add that to the exceedingly soft and dry ride, careful attention to detail and the LTS 240's distinctively fresh design and it becomes obvious that this boat is sure to be a hit with tournament and weekend coastal anglers for years to come.
The LTS 240 is available with a standard ‘sport console’ as well as two optional consoles. These are (from left to right above) the ‘fishing console’ and the ‘head console’.
